SOFIA, Bulgaria - The cooperation between a group of surface finishing suppliers, the sppot, has welcomed Swiss premium-grade liquid coating producer Berlac AG. Berlac's lacquers are used today to coat aluminum and carbon frames, as well as add-on parts.

Leader 96 opens new warehouse for e-bikes

Leader 96 Ltd has officially opened its new warehouse - designated for storage of e-bikes - on March 1st, 2021. The facility is situated near the city of Plovdiv, Bulgaria, next to Leader's second factory, that was completed in 2017. The new warehouse has total area of 4,600 square meters and can store up to 18,000 e-bikes.

SOFIA, Bulgaria - The initial decline in production at the start of the pandemic followed by a huge demand, disrupted the Bulgarian industry. Maloja's VioModa take-over brings production close-to-market

RIMSTING, Germany - German bike-, sports- and streetwear supplier Maloja Clothing GmbH & Co. KG's has made a clear close-to-the-market statement by taking over the second half of Austrian apparel production holding, VioModa GmbH. Production facilities in Bulgaria are a major draw in the deal.

PLOVDIV, Bulgaria - The newest e-bike producer in Bulgaria is Cross Ltd. The company recently opened a new facility focused on the production of e-bikes in Montana. Mid-2017 Leader 96 Ltd opened the company's second bike factory which is located near Plovdiv.

Bulgarian Maxeurope Group Gearing Up

PLOVDIV, Bulgaria - With Pexco's brand Raymon as its newest customer, Bulgarian OEM maker Maxcom is gearing its bicycle and e-bike production to new highs. Right from the start of Pexco by (ex-Winora MD) Susanne Puello in August 2017 it was claimed that the production of the company's newly established brands - Husqvarna, Raymon and R2R - would mainly take place in Europe.
