New exhibitors participate in Benelux trade show Vélovak

Having less than 5 months to go, the #1 trade show of the Benelux Vélovak is thriving. On the 22nd, 23rd and 24th of September Vélovak will take place in Evenementenhal Gorinchem. A lot happened around Vélovak since the introduction of the Moped and Scooter square last month.

With the new exhibitors Italjet E-biks and AZ-Import (Trenergy) joining, next to the earlier announced companies such as Puch, E-Wheels Studio, Kettler Alu-Rad GmbH and Achielle, the city bicycle and e-bike segment is almost fully booked. Wholesaler Italjet E-bikes will bring their unique Italian design. Trenergy focuses exclusively on their fully equipped and high-quality comfort e-bikes. Also maintenance products supplier Novatech International and helmet manufacturer Casco International are participating in Vélovak 2019.

Two new software companies on the exhibitors list

Following FietsNED and WilMar Retail, Piggy Loyalty and CycleSoftware are now also officially exhibitor of Vélovak 2019. Piggy Loyalty combines marketing and saving in one loyality software package. CycleSoftware is a compact cash register system for every bicycle shop. OOMT will also participate in Vélovak 2019. The training and development fund OOMT will help the visitors to help make their business future proof.

Expansion mopeds and scooters

New at the trade fair Vélovak is the category mopeds and scooter on the 'Moped and Scooter' square. The three brands AGM scooters, BTC scooters and PePe Parts have already confirmed their participation on this square.

Vélovakman Award

In a few days the preliminaries (6th and 20th of May) of the Velovakman competition will take place in de experience center De Fietser in Ede, the Netherlands. The goal of this competition is to provide a platform to celebrate the craftsmanship of bicycle mechanics. The man or woman, who usually have more of a background role, are subjected to a series of timed practical challenges to show their skills.

About Vélovak

On the 22, 23 and 24 September, the premier purchasing, networking and expertise event for the bicycle industry will take place in the Gorinchem Evenementenhal. Vélovak is a comprehensive bicycle trade fair organised especially for distributors and retailers in the Benelux bicycle industry. It offers a platform for big and small companies. The event take place two weeks after Eurobike, but is held well ahead of the start of the new season.

The event offers retailers everything they need for their stores, workshops, and also provides an overview of the latest in bicycles, clothing and accessories of over 200 brands, distributed by official dealers or importers only. The end of September is the ideal window for retailers to explore what the Benelux distributors have to offer and discover new trends and developments.
