Vélovak: announces next edition and opening startup pavilion

After the successful edition of the Benelux bicycle trade fair in 2019, the Vélovak team is working hard on the upcoming fourth edition (September 27, 28 and 29 September 2020). "There is a lot of news we would like to share: new participants, new features, experience and more."

Several companies have already confirmed their participation in the business-to-business platform. Among them are wholesaler Hermann Hartje KG, bicycle manufacturer Multicycle, safety products and services supplier AXA Bike Security, and children’s bicycles manufacturer Puky GmbH.

Presenting highlights at Vélovak

“We discovered Vélovak is growing and it certainly helps us to meet the target audience we cannot meet during our own events," says Hermann Hartje KG sales manager Ron Yanse. "At Vélovak, we will present highlights of the brands Victoria, Conway, i:Sy and Tern. We will also display our own parts and components brand Contec”.

Velovak-2020Unique event

Multicycle sales & marketing coordinator Remco Keizer: “Vélovak is a pure business-to-business event for Benelux dealers. This makes the event unique in comparison to other fairs in the Benelux. Multicycle also noticed that the event is steadily growing and has built a strong base. At Vélovak, we will present our 2021 product range to dealers.”

Personal contact with relations

Daniëlle Wolfs, marketing manager at AXA Bike Security adds: “Vélovak is an upcoming trade fair where all bike industry professionals meet each other. This is an ideal moment to have personal contact with our relations and introduce our latest products. At the fair, we will present our latest program of cable and chain locks and our new battery lights.”

Visual experience

At the moment the team of Vélovak is working on several elements:

  • an interesting and diverse range of exhibitors in all product categories including bicycles, sports bicycles, shop and workshop layout, parts and accessories, scooters and e-mobility, and services and systems;
  • an 'Innovation/ startup pavilion' to give IBDs a glimpse of the future and to help them make the product range in their shop more unique;
  • more cycling experiences at Vélovak, including a sports café where can watch the finale of the World Championship Road Race.

EasyGo

For the 2020 edition, the show introduced a new tool for the exhibitors and visitors, called EasyGo. EasyGo is a service package offering a wide range of marketing tools that enhance online visibility and maximizes lead generation for exhibitors. EasyGo is also integrated in the new website. It makes it easier for visitors to see not only the participants, but their products, news, and vacancies as well. They can also obtain this information easly before, during and after the trade fair. "They can also exchange business cards by simply scanning the exhibitor’s badge”, explains Mascha de Bruin.

Velovak-2020Information

Vélovak is scheduled to take place from 27 to 29 September this year at the 'Evenementenhal Gorinchem', in the Netherlands. It is the leading trade fair for the bicycle and scooter industry in the Benelux, where dealers can see the latest trends and developments in the market. It takes place shortly after Eurobike and before the start of the new season. This makes it a highly valued purchasing, networking and knowledge moment for the two-wheeler industry.

During the trade fair, a series of professionals will host highly interesting seminars, organised by Vélovak and its main media partner Vakmedianet (including Bike Europe).
