TransArt decals make assembly process more cost-efficient

Frog kids bikes launching partner for reTyre

SKI, Norway - As the first pneumatic bicycle tyre manufacturer who claims not to use rubber, reTyre can start mass production of their kids bike range. Together with launching partner Frog, the Norwegian company displayed their kids bikes tyre range at Eurobike.

Schwalbe aims for new industry standard with clik valve system

REICHSHOF, Germany - At Eurobike tyre brand Schwalbe unveiled what it calls "a revolution for bicycle valves'- the Schwalbe Clik Valve (SCV). The brand claims it is much easier to use than existing systems and boosts air flow by up to 50%. Schwalbe predicts that the intuitive click system could become the new industry standard for inflating tyres.

Can US e-bike sales reach 50% market share by 2030?

FRANKFURT, Germany - The fact that the US e-bike market is lagging behind European counterparts is well-known within the industry. A forecast based on a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 30% over the next 7 years could see the US e-bike market reach 6.7 million units and match regular bicycle sales in 2030. This data presented at Eurobike by eCycleElectric however, represented the most optimistic scenario.

Giant Group debuts recycled carbon technology in concept push bike

FRANKFURT, Germany - Giant Group paid considerable attention to its ESG efforts on its booth at this year's Eurobike. One of the features was the Pre rCarbon push bike, the "r" signifying recycled versions of raw materials. Weighing around 2.4kg it is Giant's first ever complete bike application using its recycle long carbon fiber manufacturing technology.

Newcomer DJI enters e-bike market with high-powered drive system

FRANKFURT, Germany - A newcomer on the scene at this year's Eurobike, was drone manufacturer DJI with the launch of its Avinox drive system. The lightweight, 105 Nm torque drive system was debuted on the company's 'incubator e-MTB brand' Amflow which was launched in 2023. With lengthy queues to test the product, it was one of the most eye-catching innovations at this year's Eurobike.

Bustling Eurobike did not bring the hoped for market improvement

FRANKFURT, Germany - On Sunday evening Eurobike 2024 closed the doors after five days packed with innovations, business meeting, networking events and highly informative presentations on several stages. FRANKFURT, Germany - Despite reports of ongoing high inventories in the market, German trade organisation, ZIV, presented an optimistic outlook during a market update on the day before Eurobike fully kicks off in Frankfurt. "Sales of e-bikes remain at a high level, and the overall market situation is characterised by healthy consumer demand," ZIV managing director Burkhard Stork stated when advocating the significant growth potential for the industry.
