Astro and Darfon: E-bike frame producer meets electronics giant

CHANGHUA, Taiwan - To further advance the electrification of bicycles, Taiwan's high-end OEM and ODM frame producer, Astro Engineering Co. Ltd., has entered a collaboration with electronic component producer, Darfon Electronics Corporation and called it Astro Tech Co ltd.

Grofa to distribute Darfon brand BESV in Germany and Austria

VELDHOVEN, the Netherlands - Darfon Europe has announced a collaboration between its e-bike premium brand BESV and Grofa Action Sports GmbH. The traditional German bicycle importer will take over exclusive BESV distribution rights in Germany and Austria.

Darfon Acquires Kenstone Metal to Expand E-Bike Market Share

TAOYUAN CITY, Taiwan - Darfon Electronics Corp., better known of its e-bike brands Votani and Besv, acquired a 60 percent stake in Kenstone Metal Co Ltd. The investment in this Taiwanese OEM assembler is part of Darfon's strategy to build a bigger presence in the global electric bicycle market.
