BAD URACH, Germany - As German Gustav Magenwirth GmbH & Co. KG announced back in spring 2024, it intends to significantly strengthen its innovative power as part of the future-oriented strategic restructuring of Magura parent company Magenwirth Technologies GmbH (MWT). In this context innovation- and development-oriented Ingo Beutner was hired as additional managing director to the Magura management board.

Nürtingen, Germany - The former company headquarters of Magura has moved into a brand-new facility of Magura Bosch Parts & Services (MBPS). Two years after the decision in favour of a new building was made, all MBPS departments have now moved into the one building.

At Eurobike 2023, Magura will be unveiling their combined braking system for cargo bikes. This new braking system especially helps inexperienced riders to use both brakes together, significantly shortening the braking distance.

REUTLINGEN, Germany - The launch of Bosch's new ABS system for e-bikes has been long awaited. Incorrect braking is seen as one of the main causes of accidents. "The front wheel brake on a bicycle is crucial for a short braking distance," says Claus Fleischer, CEO of Bosch eBike Systems. The new Bosch e-bike ABS with brake components from Magura will be available from this summer.

BAD URACH, Germany - Michael Funk has joined the management board of German brake expert, Gustav Magenwirth GmbH & Co. KG (Magura Group), effective 1 June. In his new role as CEO, the 47-year-old is responsible for the entire Magura Group.
