Future Raleigh UK uncertain as Accell Group didn't file account

EASTWOOD, United Kingdom - Raleigh UK risks being closed down by the government agency Companies House over its failure to file its financial results. The fully owned Accell Group subsidiary has been given three months to get its affairs in order or face being forced to shut down its operation.

Fitch Ratings warns Accell Group finances are 'unsustainable'

Raleigh cuts UK jobs in move to align with Accell Group

EASTWOOD, England - Citing a challenging market, UK bike manufacturer Raleigh is cutting jobs and relocating its headquarters. The measures are also being taken "to better integrate Accell UK into the wider Accell Group."

Accell Group reports ongoing strong sales in second half 2021

HEERENVEEN, the Netherlands - "We saw good sales levels and continued strong profit accretion in the second half of 2021 through November," said Accell Group CEO Ton Anbeek in a trading update published today. While the company still reported sales decline in the first half of this year, it is now much more positive on the expected full year results.

Raleigh's DACH distribution license returns to Accell Group from Pon...

CLOPPENBURG, Germany - Since 2005, the venerable British bicycle brand Raleigh has been rolling into the German-speaking market as a licensed brand through the Pon Bike Group. With the license contract with Accell Group set to expire at the end of September 2023, both parties have already agreed to transfer Raleigh's DACH (Germany, Austria and Switzerland) distribution back to the Accell Group.
