The TRP E.A.S.I. A12 is the first electronic shifting system specifically developed for the Bosch Smart System. The eShift solution analyzes cadence, torque, and speed, automatically adjusting the shifting to match the riding conditions.
OEMs get a seamlessly integrated system with the A12, which is designed to fit both visually and functionally into the Bosch ecosystem. Through collaboration with Bosch, manufacturers receive a complete system solution from a single source.
Similar to a fully equipped car, the E.A.S.I. A12 is compatible with the Bosch eBike ABS developed by Tektro. This ABS is optimally tuned to the braking systems and is available for all e-bike types – from e-city and e-trekking bikes to e-cargo and e-MTB – each with specifically designed ABS modes (ABS Touring, ABS Allroad, ABS Cargo, and ABS Trail).

Automatic shifting
The E.A.S.I. A12 automatically adapts to the riding conditions. When stopping at traffic lights or stop signs, the Auto-Downshift function ensures that the system automatically shifts into the optimal gear for a smooth restart. The Roll Shift function enables seamless gear changes, regardless of terrain or traffic conditions.
Riders also remain in control: Those who prefer full control can switch between automatic and manual mode at any time. The result: no constant fine-tuning and reduced wear. Cyclists can fully focus on the ride – whether in the city or on long-distance tours.
Durability and low-maintenance design
OEMs choosing the A12 gain a system designed for both comfort and long-lasting performance. Automatic shifting prevents improper chain loads and significantly reduces wear. This minimizes maintenance effort, leading to lower long-term costs and extended component lifespan.

Production reliability
TRP's factories are operating at full capacity to maintain a steady supply chain. With a production time of six weeks and a stable supplier network, the company offers OEMs reliable planning security — an important advantage in an industry where material shortages remain a challenge.
Future compatibility
Currently, the TRP E.A.S.I. A12 is only compatible with Bosch systems. However, from mid-year, support will extend to additional drive units. For OEMs, this means immediate access to advanced shifting technology with the added benefit of future compatibility across a broader range of drivetrain systems.
