Crussis presents new lightbike with DJI Avinox motor at Eurobike 2025

Founded in 2013, Crussis has rapidly grown from a small local Czech brand into one of the biggest e-bike brands in the Czech Republic. Known for its bold design, precise engineering, and strong commitment to in-house development and assembly, the company has built a name synonymous with innovation and performance. Now, as the brand looks beyond its home market, 2025 marks a turning point: international expansion, cutting-edge technology, and new collaborations.

This year at Eurobike, the highlight of the Crussis booth will be the new range of e-bikes featuring DJI Avinox motors. The range has been developed in close cooperation with Czech cycling legend and three-time world champion Michal Prokop. This collaboration brings together real-world racing experience and cutting-edge e-bike innovation.

A new range of e-bikes

“We will introduce a total of seven models in this range,” says Petr Výkruta, managing director of Crussis. “Two e-bikes with aluminium hardtail frames, two full-suspension e-bikes with aluminium frames and three full-suspension e-bikes with carbon frames.”

Then Výkruta continues to explain the key features of the new range: “Our lightest carbon e-bike, equipped with a DJI Avinox motor and a 600Wh battery, will weigh under 20kg. This makes it a true high-performance lightbike, delivering an impressive 1000W and 105Nm of torque (and 120Nm in Boost mode).”

Developments in the European e-bike market

In addition, the company will also present e-bikes equipped with the brand-new Panasonic GXM 2026 motor. This is another step in offering multiple high-end motor platforms for different rider needs.

“We believe this year’s Eurobike will be a milestone for us. The e-bike models we are unveiling reflect a new level in our development, and as a Czech brand, Crussis is ready to compete in the European e-bike market,” notes Výkruta.

More than a brand: the brand’s philosophy

“We have never been just another bike brand. From our earliest days, we have embraced bold aesthetics, reliability, and value. Our company designs and assembles most of its bikes in the Czech Republic, maintaining close control over production quality while fostering domestic know-how,” emphasises Výkruta.

Crussis believes that e-mobility should be both high-performing and accessible. That’s why its product lineup spans from urban commuters to powerful e-MTBs, including race-tested models developed in cooperation with elite athletes. At the heart of the brand lies a passion for pushing boundaries while staying connected to riders of all levels.

Standing out at Eurobike 2025

“Among hundreds of brands at Eurobike, we stand out with our authentic Central European DNA, bold designs, and the courage to innovate,” mentions Výkruta before he sums up what visitors can expect at the company’s booth:

  • The latest generation of the carbon lightbike with a DJI Avinox motor under 20kg
  • Accessible full-suspension e-bikes with aluminium frames and a DJI Avinox motor
  • Information about next-gen motor technologies from DJI and Panasonic
  • The latest Fox components used on e-bikes

Looking ahead: international expansion

After the Czech market, Crussis is now actively expanding its presence across Europe. With new partnerships and distribution networks forming in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Italy, Spain, and France, the company is entering a new chapter. The goal is clear: to make the brand a European name in e-biking, supported by localised service, strong dealer networks, and continued innovation from its Czech headquarters.
