PLOVDIV, Bulgaria - Leader 96 Ltd is doubling its e-bike production in 2020. The Bulgarian OEM maker, which is at Eurobike: stand B2-502, is doing the same this year while it also doubled its e-bike production in 2018. The company is planning for next year a production of 100,000 e-bikes. Leader 96 operates two bike production facilities in Bulgaria. The company has just launched its completely redesigned corporate website, allowing its current and future partners to see and understand Leader 96 constant strive for development and growth.

The new vision and content of the corporate website shows the heart of the Company and its main activities. The photo gallery and the videos will bring the visitor to the main facilities of Leader, presenting the result of all the recent investments and hard work.

“Our Team is young and ambitious. And the company is innovative and constantly growing. However, our corporate website was not following this trend so far,” says Leader 96 CEO - Dimitar Zlatanov. This is the reason the company decided to bring its website up to date.

20 years’ experience

Founded in 1996, Leader 96 Ltd has more than 20 years’ experience in the production and distribution of bicycles and e-bikes. The company is constantly investing in its production and warehouse facilities, as well as in research and development.

E-bike production

Leader has started with its first e-bike prototypes back in 2011 and focused on electric bicycles ever since, seeing this new coming trend long before the massive boom. The increased demand and the company’s vision “To constantly produce and deliver high quality innovative products in line with the European standards, and to be preferred partner to its customers,” brings it to the next step and in June 2017 Leader opened its second factory, increasing its total capacity to 400,000 bikes per year.

Doubling e-bike production each year

The modern and well-organized equipment allows the company to double its e-bike production each year (26,000 in 2018, 55,000 in 2019 and planned 100,000 in 2020), making it one of the largest e-bikes producers in Europe.

Bicycle production in Spain rebounds in October

MADRID, Spain - Bicycle production in Spain rebounded again in October with 25,400 bicycles produced for a value of €18.2 million. Compared to the same month of the previous year, this is a growth of 23.3% in units and 16.7% in turnover, according to data published by the Ministry of Industry and Tourism.
