Woom expands into UK with successful kid's bike range

LONDON, England - Austrian kid's bike brand, Woom has now entered the lucrative UK market. Having had success in 30 other countries and sales of over 1 million units, Woom bikes will be distributed by UK trade partners online and in-stores.

Latvian ingenuity making waves in the balance bike world

CĒSIS, Latvia - It is no coincidence that leg&go, the innovative wooden balance bike, comes from Latvia of all places. Firstly, this Baltic country has a long tradition of wood processing and secondly, founder Egons Garklavs is regarded as an ingenious designer there. ASCOT, UK - Frog Bikes, the British manufacturer of children's bikes, is taking significant steps to reduce its carbon emissions by incorporating 25% post-consumer recycled aluminium into the production of bike frames and forks. The move is expected to decrease carbon emissions by 5.8% per bike, equivalent to approximately 28.8 kg of CO2 per bike.

Bike Club expands into European kid's bike subscription market

LONDON, UK - Bike Club, a subscription-based provider of kid's bikes, has acquired Bicircular, a fellow bike subscription platform for children in Spain. This latest acquisition sees the UK scale-up entering two new European markets in the past twelve months.
