Tektro's Brake solutions for OEM market: entry-level to high-end

Tektro offers OEM manufacturers a portfolio of innovative braking systems that meet the requirements of models ranging from entry-level to high-performance. The structured product line allows for targeted selection of suitable solutions for different mountain bike categories and applications. The latest innovation in the range is the top model EVO Pro, which opens up new possibilities for individual brake customization thanks to an innovative pressure point adjustment (PAD — Pad Activation Dial).

Tektro's brake systems are easy to maintain and have an easily accessible spare parts supply, making them a practical choice for OEMs. Features like 2.3 mm thick brake rotors and specially developed mineral oil with a high boiling point ensure consistent braking performance and durability under demanding conditions.

Slate EVO

The Slate EVO is the entry-level model among four-piston brakes, designed for e-bikes and traditional mountain bikes. It's also suitable for kids’ bikes, as the brake lever can be adjusted very close to the handlebars. It delivers reliable braking power for trail and light enduro use.

Trail EVO

The Trail EVO is the mid-range model. It offers increased braking performance compared to the Slate EVO, with a defined, direct pressure point – ideal for trail, enduro, and e-bikes. This brake is specifically designed for riders who prefer uncompromising braking power.

DHR EVO

The DHR EVO was developed with World Cup athletes like Aaron Gwin. It features excellent modulation and reduced arm fatigue (“arm pump”), making long and technically demanding descents easier. Another key advantage of the DHR EVO is its resistance to fade – even on long, steep descents, braking performance remains consistent and reliable.

EVO Pro

The new EVO Pro offers up to 20 percent more braking power compared to the DHR EVO and features a ‘defined and crisp’ pressure point. Specially designed for ambitious and professional gravity riders, it includes a tool-free reach adjustment and a pressure point adjustment (PAD - Pad Activation Dial), allowing for personalized brake setup. The EVO Pro is also officially approved for the Bosch ABS and ABS Pro systems.

EVO X

Developed in cooperation with the Rockrider CXM Team, the EVO X evolved from the Slate EVO to become TRP’s lightest two-piston brake. The EVO X is optimized for cross-country, down country, and marathon use. It’s trimmed for minimal weight and features titanium bolts and a slim construction.
