FRANKFURT, Germany - The demand for e-bikes with a belt drive system is growing. Although Gates Carbon Drive has a sizeable share of the existing market, there are now gaps for newcomers to enter the market. One of these is Yung Fang Plastic Co. Ltd who displayed its belt drive system at this year's Eurobike.

Fifteen years after introducing its bicycle belts in Europe, Gates is preparing for the next 15 years of growth by increasing belt production in Europe and opening a new factory in Turkey to support the European market.
