The Gates Carbon Drive booth at Eurobike 2021 will offer a glimpse into the rapidly growing market for advanced drivetrain technologies that improve reliability, enhance customer satisfaction, and offer belt driven mobility solutions. Belt Powered

Like a sports car on two wheels, the Diamant Opal Esprit + features a Gates Carbon Drive belt synched with a Bosch Performance CX motor and Enviolo continuously variable hub for seamless shifting and powerful pedaling. Gates belts are the perfect application for high-torque motors, which rapidly stretch chains.

Modern Dutch Style

With multiple prizes under its belt including an IF Design Award, the No.1 is a stylish and fully integrated speed pedelec from iconic Dutch brand Gazelle. With assist up to 45 km/h from its Bosch motor, the No.1 rolls fast and true thanks to a Gates belt that performs in the worst weather and road conditions.

Super Delighted

Riese & Muller was an early adopter of Gates Carbon Drive technologies, and the German brand continues to push the envelope of modern e-bike design. The Superdelite GT Vario HS is a cross-town or cross-country charger with a Gates approved belt tensioner that enables flawless pedaling and full-suspension comfort.

Light Speed

Featuring a proprietary 240-watt Super Light propulsion system, the Specialized Turbo Como SL 5.0 is a 48-pound speed pedelec that excels as a year-round commuter or errand runner. With a lightweight step-through frame, rack, integrated lights, fenders, and basket, it turns work into play.

Quiet Motoring

Eurofender unveils 100% recycled and recyclable mudguard

PADOVA, Italy - To reduce the carbon footprint of bicycles, mudguard manufacturer Eurofender has developed a model which is made out of recycled plastic. Besides this, it is also made without aluminum, and the plastic can be fully recycled at the end of the life cycle of the mudguard.

Shimano AI-integrated drive train Q'Auto on bikes next year
